The first-ever animated feature adaptation of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s iconic masterpiece, The Little Prince follows a young girl, overprogrammed by her helicoptering mother, who rediscovers her childhood through her eccentric, kind-hearted neighbor, The Aviator. The Aviator introduces his new friend to an extraordinary world that he himself discovered long ago through The Little Prince. A combination of animation styles weave this past and present story as the girl ultimately learns that human connections are what matter most.
“As fragile and beautiful as the beloved rose guarded by the wee fellow of the title.” — Kyle Smith, The New York Post
“There’s a lot of charm, thought and feeling in this film version. It expands on the original without dishonoring it.” — Bilge Ebiri, The Village Voice
