The Blue Caftan, winner of the International film Critics Prize at Cannes, is set in Morocco’s oldest medina. A woman manages her artisan husband’s tailor shop, where with great care, he embroiders traditional caftans. A young male assistant, newly hired after the shop ignites surprisingly complicated interplay of love and jealousy that divides and unites the three.
