In pre-pandemic 2018, when this film was originally shot by first time filmmaker Nora Martirosyam, there was a breakaway republic in the Caucasus between Azerbijian and Armenia called Artsakh which had built — in real life — a new international airport a few miles away from hostile territory. To certify the safety of this airport a French inspector, played by veteran French actor Gregoire Colin, arrives to approve landings and takeoffs at an empty terminal. Played the Cannes and Toronto Film Festivals.
