One of France’s greatest filmmakers, Jacques Audiard (A Prophet, Rust and Bone), with screenwriting help from Cecile Sciamma (Portrait of a Lady on Fire, Petite Maman), successfully transfers two stories from Adrian Tomine’s collection of graphic short stories from urban American to the Olympiades neighborhood in Paris where high rises abound with tenants who, often quirkily, fight off loneliness.
