Sandra (Léa Seydoux), a young widow raising her daughter alone, pays regular visits to her sick father (Pascal Greggory), a former scholar who is suffering from a neurodegenerative disease. While she and her family fight to get him the care he requires, she reconnects with Clément (Melvil Poupaud), an old friend of her late husband’s. Although he is married, the two begin a passionate affair.  This subtle and affecting film from  Mia Hansen-Løve (Bergman Island, Goodbye First Love) is all about the small moments in life and love that nourish and sustain. First screened at FilmColumbia 2022.
