This charming, animated film is about the perils of commitment for men who misunderstand women. Zelma, born in Siberia, lived in Latvia, and spent time in New York City, has had several catastrophic marriages. Her biography of disappointment is narrated by one of her brain cells, accompanied by a singing trio who pop up whenever it expresses itself. My Love Affair with Marriage is persuasively voiced by, among others, filmmaker Signe Baumane, Dagmar Dominczyk, Matthew Modine, and Columbia County’s Stephen Lang. Played Tribeca.
