May December is the latest from indie extraordinaire Todd Haynes whose features have been distributed, and in this case co-produced by Killer Films since 1991. It is based on a true story: the tabloid romance between a wife whose husband, the former student she seduced, is 23 years younger. When an actress playing the wife in an upcoming Hollywood production joins them and their three girls to research her role, tensions flair. Starring Natalie Portman and Julianne Moore, May December premiered at Cannes, and opened the New York Film Festival.
