Lust and violence collide in this pulpy, throwback thrill ride, the second feature film from director Rose Glass. Reclusive gym manager Lou (Kristen Stewart) falls hard for Jackie (Katy O’Brian), a bodybuilder passing through town en route to a competition in Las Vegas. As they both get pulled into the machinations of Lou’s criminal family, their love is tested by the ticking time bombs in Lou’s past. A New York Times Critic’s Pick, the film was nominated for Best Feature Film at the Berlin International Film Festival in February.
