Following his wife’s death, a scientist tries to use ground-breaking technology to determine if there is life after death. But once he is through the looking glass, there is no turning back. Creep Box stars Geoffrey Cantor, Dan Cordle and Ian Lithgow (son of John Lithgow). This spooky sci-fi thriller, which Biesemans based on his award-winning short of the same name, won Best Feature at the Philip K Dick Film Festival at the Museum of the Moving Image in New York in April. The film is produced by Noah Lang, two-time Independent Spirit Award nominated producer and partner at Witchcraft Motion Picture Company.
Patrick Biesemans is an Iranian/Filipino American filmmaker based in New York. He won the inaugural Musicbed Film Initiative Grant, the Screencraft Orb Fellowship for his original screenplay The Beautiful Country, and festival prizes for his short film work.
His award-winning film Embers & Dust was featured in Gizmodo, Vice’s The Creators Project, NoFilmSchool and more. It was later released after playing numerous festivals.
