SUMMER’S END
CINEMA CELEBRATION
Audrey Hepburn’s most iconic and mesmerizing role introduced the world to Holly Golightly, a glamorous, carefree yet vulnerable Truman Capote character with secrets in the seams of her Little Black Dress. George Peppard co-stars as her love interest with secrets of his own, namely his sugar momma Patricia Neal. Blake Edwards (The Pink Panther, Victor/Victoria, 10) directs and the cinematography of Franz Planer wraps the whole thing up in gorgeous Technicolor.
“A completely unbelievable but wholly captivating flight into fancy composed of unequal dollops of comedy, romance, poignancy, funny colloquialisms and Manhattan’s swankiest East Side areas captured in the loveliest of colors.” — A.H. Weiler, The New York Times
“Woven into this heady romance is chic Hollywood comedy at it’s finest.” — Almar Haflidason, BBC.com
