Hercule Poirot, now retired and living in self-imposed exile in post-World War II Venice, is skeptical when invited to a seance. His mustache curls, however, when one of the guests at the gathering is murdered. Kenneth Branagh directs and stars, along with Michelle Yeoh and Tina Fey, in this darker, spookier Agatha Christie adaptation, gloriously filmed in the floating Italian city.
