Feature: The Unholy Three

Three sideshow performers leave their lives of captivity and become “The Unholy Three.” Echo, the ventriloquist, assumes the role of a kindly old grandmother who runs a bird shop. Tweedledee, the “twenty-inch man,” becomes her grandbaby, and Hercules is their assistant. Soon an incredible crime wave is launched from their little store. Starring legend Lon Chaney as Echo.

The Unholy Three is admirably acted by Miss Mae Busch and Mr. Lon Chaney. The latter is a moving-picture actor of a unique and singular reputation.” — Edmund Wilson, The New Republic
“After viewing this production the figures that have passed upon the screen still cling to one’s mind, and one feels like talking about the strange and unusual tale.” — Mordaunt Hall, The New York Times
