A French film about food? Absolutely. Better yet, the cooking takes place in the perfect country kitchen overseen by a luminous Juliette Binoche as Eugenie, who knows more about seasoning even than her partner, the noted chef Dodin Bouffant. Both a sumptuous drama and an adult love story set in 1885, the originally titled Le Pot-au-Feu won Cannes’ Best Director award for Tran Anh Hung. It’s a feast, so do not come hungry.
