The Current War

The Current War was a casualty of the collapse of The Weinstein Company. This new, improved version benefits from five new scenes and a shorter runtime. Based on a true story, The Current War dramatizes the vicious, turn-of-the-20^th century feud between two powerhouse inventors, Thomas Edison and George Westinghouse. The prize is the nation’s electrical generating system. Benedict Cumberbatch plays Edison while Michael Shannon is Westinghouse.  Premiered at the 2019 Toronto Film Festival.
