Brooklyn-based filmmaker Ido Fluk tells the exuberant and ebullient true story of how teenage Vera Brandes convinced legendary jazz pianist Keith Jarrett (John Magaro) to take the stage in less-than-perfect conditions in Cologne. The recording of Jarrett’s fully improvised performance, which could have been a disaster, went on to become the world’s most popular solo jazz album.
