Bergman Island

Faro, a Swedish island in the Baltic Sea where Ingmar Bergman lived and shot many of his most famous films is home to Bergman Center, which brings filmmakers to the island to show their work. Tim Roth plays Tony, a New York director who is invited with his wife, Chris, a writer with a block. This idyllic scene morphs into Scenes from a Marriage as they become haunted by Bergman’s biography and themes.
