All the Beauty and the Bloodshed is a remarkable collaboration between filmmaker Laura Poitras (Citizenfour, The Oath) and artist photographer Nan Goldin (The Ballad of Sexual Dependency) whose liberation from an OxyContin addiction led her to a passionate activism. Wanting to hold the Sacklers accountable for thousands of deaths, Goldin and colleagues staged actions to have the family name removed from museums and institutions worldwide. Winner of the Golden Lion at Venice and shown at Telluride, Toronto and New York, All the Beauty and the Bloodshed is an electrifying film, personal and painful, about family, friends, and survival.
