The Jerusalem Light Rail line is a tramway 8.6 miles long that opened in 2011. The prolific Israeli-French independent filmmaker, Amos Gitai, populates the tram with a multinational, multilingual group of Israelis, Palestinians, and foreign tourists who argue, laugh, sing, or simply observe as they travel from the north to the Hadassah Medical Center in the south.
